We’ve always believed that being a good dental practice means more than what happens in the chair. On 27 June 2026, our team put that belief into action, quite literally by lacing up their walking boots and heading out along the Lincolnshire coast.
The BIG Community Challenge brought together around 20 of us for a 12-mile coastal walk from Mablethorpe Queen’s Park down to Anderby Creek and back. Practice managers, dental nurses, receptionists, administrators, head office staff and both of our founders, Jimmey and Nav Palahey, all took part. Every corner of the Treeline family was represented on that stretch of coastline.
It was warm. Very warm. But the conversations, the laughs, the shared sense of purpose, none of that wavered for a mile.
We stopped at Anderby Creek to recharge and refuel before making the return journey, completing all 12 miles as a team. That bit matters to us. Nobody was left behind.
Why Dentaid?
The walk raised £1,000 for Dentaid, a charity whose mission sits very close to our own values. Dentaid delivers oral healthcare to vulnerable communities across the UK and internationally, working to make dentistry accessible to people who would otherwise go without. That’s something we believe in deeply.
This isn’t the first time we’ve supported Dentaid, and it won’t be the last.
More than a fundraiser
If you ask anyone who was there, the number on the fundraising total isn’t the only thing they’ll talk about. They’ll talk about the conversations that only happen when you’re three miles into a walk with no agenda. The colleagues who surprised themselves. The moment the group crested a rise and saw the coast stretching ahead.
Days like this build something that a team meeting never quite can.
As Jimmey said after the event: “When our teams come together for something bigger than ourselves, it reminds us of what Treeline is about, people, purpose and making a positive impact. I’m incredibly proud of everyone who took part.”
